Great service and friendly staff.

Re: Order 9762.
Ordered a lintel and acrow props on 10th October - showed as in stock. Paid £35 for 2-4 working days, and was advised that an email would be sent on dispatch.
Then NOTHING!
I emailed several times and got no response, and then phoned several times and as the 'online' team didn't answer was told they would get them to call me back.
Eventually Emma sent an email to say that the order would be back in stock at the beginning of this week (despite so say being in stock when I ordered), followed by a call to say that it would be delivered on Wednesday 30th October.
Phoned early Wednesday afternoon to get an ETA, as I had work to do and it was holding me up. Was told they would check & call me back, and would refund my delivery charge - they did neither. Waited in all day Wednesday and nothing showed, so phoned Thursday to find out what was happening. Again told they'd call back, but never did.
Tried again today, same story. Now they are closed for the weekend and I have builders booked for Monday, having already put them off last week.
On Monday it will be 25 days, not 2-4....and we still don't know whether it will even show up then???
Think I will request a refund from Paypal, and buy elsewhere.

Update: Delivery charge refund received 4th Nov
Order received today, 5th Nov. Good job someone was here to get it off the truck with the driver as it was a 1 man delivery, and had to be manually lifted from the truck (4.8m & best part of 100kg)

Terrible terrible company. Customer service an absolute joke there isn’t any. Tell you items going to be delivered over a two day period you wait in not delivered, haven’t even got the decency to call you an update you as to why. I had to ring these every time a was let down on two separate occasions after been promised my stuff be delivered. Avoid at all costs! Only positive was I did get me refund when they said I would.

Very poor experience all round ordering from this company, placed order on the 8th October, items ordered online with a 2-5 day delivery. Two weeks later with chasing up regularly told it was due to be delivered on Friday 18th by DX so asked for the tracking number as I had not received a delivery notification from DX, which DX always do either via email and via a text on the day of delivery. Wade Building supplies where not able to give me a tracking number and told me that I wouldn't be delivered until Monday 21st. Told an absolute load of lies and wasted my time waiting for my order of lintels, ended up going to local builders merchant to get them, wish I had done that in the first place.

Great quality of service and product. Would recommend and will use again.

Delivery was at time and date indicated. Cheerful delivery guy. Good communication about state of order on line. Items are good and robust, just as wanted.

Superfast delivery by lovely driver, arrived faster than 5-7 days i paid for and great quality scaffold boards for a garden project.
Only reason I didnt give 5* is the lack of communication.

Lured in to purchasing from the company by online items saying are in stock when they are not. Told by sales team out of stock items will be delivered within 2 weeks. It took them 10 days to order my items, their preferred courier loses a 2.7m lintel, items not delivered. Very apologetic sales team that never return a phone call. I have to say the worst company I have used. I appreciate I only spent £730 with them but I feel totally undervalued and let down.

Paid for next day delivery, took 5 days, whoever they used lost the parcel, it was 4.8m and weighed 97kg.

This cost me more labour fees amd also when it was delivered there was one man to move it off the wagon, if I wasn't there what would they have done, tye answer was to take it away. Utter joke.

All the planks of wood were sawed badly. Some were warped and two were very seriously cracked half way through the 4ft length.
Cheap unacceptable craftsmanship and very low quality goods

Ordered 2 lintels, and paid for next day delivery. Only 1 lintel delivered, no explanation until I chased the next day. At this point, they claimed they were unaware only one was delivered, but eventually blamed the delivery company. Advised it would be shipped same day for delivery tomorrow. As expected, nothing arrived. This happened again, before I advised I couldn't wait any longer, and ordered from Markovitz.

I was promised a refund for the missing lintel and next day delivery charge. nearly 3 weeks later, I'm still waiting. chased, and all they say is it'll be with you soon.

They're either thieves, or just have appalling customer services. Either way, it's not acceptable.

Easy to deal with, goods delivered without fuss, and good quality

Not delivered on time and Over charged.
Ordered 4 Lintels & paid for next day delivery.
Delivery arrived 4 days later.

I then find out That I had been charged double VAT on 2 of the lintels. Phoned up and gave card details again - was told a refund has been issued for the over charging of 2 lintels, plus a part refund of the delivery change [paid for next day, and got 4 day delivery] - well its Friday the 2nd of Aug and guess what? still no refund has landed in my Bank account yet, phoned this morning and was told some one would get back to me - well nobody did. So all in all a terrible first time experience with Wade Building Supplies. Invoice 227247

Paid for quick delivery, didn't arrive on time. Chased, promised next day, again didn't arrive. Chased again, told it was out of stock. Eventually arrived 10 day late.
Staff very friendly and helpful, just didn't do what they said.

Great service.. fairly priced and delivered on time.
