Do not waste your time with this company. Very ignorant Are unwilling to provide any information, which makes me believe half of these properties are unlicensed. The agent joão eventually got in touch by phone (as he wasn’t responding to no emails) with no information what I requested. When he realised I was British he tried to increase the price of the property I was interested in while on the phone and avoid telling me what was wrong with the property despite asking over and over again. Recommend go to a professional company as these are not. Very ignorant even tried telling me Britain is the same temperature as Portugal.

Falta de profissionalismo, querem vendas a todo o custo, não negoceio com gente assim.

NO STARS! Waste your time elsewhere as this is the worst agency EVER! The agents are extremely unprofessional, rude and ignorant. Joào Migual one of the lazy incompetent agents is a creepy weirdo who wants to call and message ladies at midnight.

A Remax pode ser uma grande empresa com provas dadas no mercado internacional imobiliário, pena é que não selecione melhor os seus agentes a nível nacional.
Péssima e traumatizante experiencia com este grupo, ou melhor com aqueles que "vestem" a sua camisola.
Vigaristas, sem escrúpulos, onde tudo vale para angariar clientes e posteriormente esmifrá-los.
Contratos com letras miudinhas e páginas escondidas (que se abrem ao contrário) cujas cláusulas existem apenas para beneficiar uma das partes.
Deixo um alerta, não procurem esta imobiliária.

Remax Fátima: Falta de ética. Alguns agentes não respondem às suas mensagens. O cliente é obrigado a desistir.

Worst experience with Remax Portugal with both the agent and the broker!!! The agent would not send us listings and would not respond when we sent her listings. She did not listen to what we wanted, would not accommodate what we wanted (which was simply to review recommended listings by email and to view a lot of properties when in town) and she frequently argued with us about what we were asking. She then pressured us to buy a home we liked and wouldn’t show us anything further even though we are at the very beginning of our process and need to get to know lots of areas and see lots of homes before making that kind of commitment. In the end, she and her broker tried to sell us on an “exclusive” contract enabling them to “show us listings from any agency” which could come at the cost of a 5% commission to the buyer!!! We did not fall for this scheme — is it even legal? — and have since parted ways thankfully, but the total incompetence of the agent and the shady business practices of she and the broker were mind blowing and frankly disturbing. DO NOT USE RE MAX!!!

These guys are absolutely the worst. Not just worst but evil. They will lie, manipulate and screw you while smiling in your face! I dealt with them in Algarve, Setubal, Montijo and Lisbon. All different realtors but do the same dirt. I would put a minus star if I could.

Tive uma péssima experiência este ano tudo funcionou mal desde o inicio o contrato foi feito a 5de Março só eu tendo acesso a ele a 16de maio por muita insistência minha foi me exigido um certificado energético de 160€ alegando que enquanto não o fizesse não poderiam por o imóvel a venda assim o fiz tive k imóvel parado dois meses por esse erro pois vim a descobrir que paguei e o meu está válido até Outubro de 2023 não adianta fazer queixa a diretores a remax pois incobrem se uns aos outros acho que devia estar do lado do cliente que é quem lhes faz ganhar dinheiro mas não é de lamentar

Está empresa, especialmente em Leiria, não escuta seu cliente, me pareceu que existe só para defender os próprios interesses. Se procura comprar um imóvel, tome muito cuidado, eu confiei na palavra deles e me dei mal.

As boas empresas são feitas por boas pessoas, e como tal apesar dos vários comentários negativos nesta página sobre esta empresa, destaco um excelente profissional como mediador imobiliário na região de Évora, Portugal. O Sr. Vasco Carreiro demonstrou grandes capacidades de gestão profissional e habilidades excelentes de comunicação durante o decorrer de um negócio nessa região. Uma empresa que detenha profissionais deste nível é sempre uma boa recomendação, obrigado.

Well, I don't recommend it at all. For you have an idea, the realtor asked €800 just for visiting an apartment. Check the conversation below and you'll notice if there's any sense. It's in Portuguese from Portugal, but it's just put on tradutor.

There's nothing in this world to convince me to give €800 to someone to visita an apartment. Where there's smoke, there's fire.

I have read all the bad reviews and I must say, I hit the jackpot.
During the course of 2020, my late brother was in the process of purchasing property. He found an agent Antonio Dutra from Remax Carregado who showed him a few properties. My brother then spotted a new property he was interested in but with a different agent from Remax. He contacted the agent he was dealing with and asked to intervene on this property he was interested in. After following the purchasing process, the bank took too long and the currency exchange made it no longer viable to purchase the property

Come 2022 and I needed to purchase a house. I approached this gentleman with no hesitation. He gives 150% service and goes above and beyond the call of duty. I was informed all the way of the process, even though many times I kept on asking him the same thing over and over, he was patient and responded honestly every time. If I could name him I would as he deserves every accolade that is available.

My property transaction from time of viewing to completion of transaction, took approximately 3 weeks for a cash transaction.

So basically, I dont think people in their reviews should paint a whole company with the same brush as there are in fact some decent agents out there.

Os mediadores e/os servicos de marketing teem uma falta de civismo inacreditavel e um QI abaixo de 50. Estragam as caixas de correio das casas que querem angariar e depois nao se responsabilizam a resposta a reclamacao e chorar ainda mais..... Quem e que com um minimo de testa lhes vai dar as casas para vender... A vergonha da vergonha - especialmente Remax Prestige da Avenida de de ROma

São uns gatunos e cheios de esquemas desleais tanto para o vendedor como para o comprador.
Empresa sem valores nenhuns, trabalham em função da comissão e a palavra vale zero!
O negócio deles não é vender casas, mas sim leiloar casas, quem der mais e tiver mais dinheiro, ganha, não dão a mínima estabilidade ao comprador.
Colocam as casas a um preço muito mais baixo que o mercado para terem muitas visitas, e depois fazem jogos psicológicos com o comprador, alegando que outros ofereceram mais 5.000€ ou 10.000€ e se à última da hora aparecer alguém que dê mais 500€, a palavra que foi dada até aqui desaparece.
Vendem-se por pouco! Tive uma experiência com eles e não vou voltar a repetir, não vou compactuar com jogos deste tipo, muito menos dar o meu dinheiro a esta empresa. A minha casa vai certamente ser comprada a outra agência e não recomendo a NINGUÉM, muito menos familiares e amigos que queiram comprar/vender.

Don't use this realestate company because all they are interested in is the commission. I got them to sell a shop in Algarve for me. Was told I could get about €80k for it. After a short time I was told it's too much and must drop price which I did. Well in the end it sold for only €25k because the agent kept making up stories about how nobody wants to buy it, nobody has money. But it's all about the commission, she didn't care if she sold it for €80k or €5k because she would still get €5k commission. She just wanted to sell it as quick as she could so she can get her money. I hope karma gets her for ripping me off.

Worst company I've ever seen with lots of scams. I made an offer for a house, signed it and they never sent it to the customer (proven by himself).

Boa sorte a conseguir que esta gente que "trabalha" nesta agência dê um segundo de atenção.
Ignoram as tentativas de contacto, presencialmente não nos levam a sério, somos ignorados como se não tivéssemos dinheiro em mão para comprar.
Talvez prefiram quem os faça perder tempo com tentativas de empréstimo aos bancos.
Uma miséria.

This is an email to Remax following an awful experience I had with them.

Hi .........
Can you please delete all of the information about our property I sent to you by email yesterday together with the forms we completed and the ID information. Please confirm that you have received this message and have taken the necessary action.

I was very disappointed by your behaviour, particularly the phone conversation we had this morning before you hung up on me.

You approached me last week because somebody had seen a private ad I had placed about our property and wanted to view. Remax had played no part in marketing or advertising our property. You said Remax wanted to charge 5% if a sale went ahead but I made it quite clear on several occasions that I was not prepared to pay 5% to any agent as the rate is excessive and designed purely to support an inefficient market place. Moreover, in this instance, Remax had done nothing to attract any potential buyers.

You outlined the options which were for us to sign a contract with Remax and you would guarantee we would pay a maximum of 4% if a sale was agreed or you could share the commission with an agent who was marketing the property for us. You added that Remax would not agree to a contract for anything less than 5%. I repeated that I wouldn't sign a contract for 5% and I gave you the details of the other agent involved where you could share a commission of 4%. You then said you had called them but there was no reply. Did you actually call them? From what happened later I doubt it. Your next suggestion was to ask us to forget the other agent and pay the full 4% to you. I had no problem with that as the cost to us would have been the same so it was agreed that for the viewing this week a fee of a maximum of 4% would be payable. If no sale followed we would consider whether or not to use your services going forward. You then sent me a contract for signature at a rate of 5%!

So to summarise. Firstly you asked for a fee of 5% despite you having done nothing to identify the buyer. Then you suggest you can share a commission of 4% with another agent. Then you suggest to forget the other agent and charge the 4% solely for Remax and then you send me a contract for 5%!

When I questioned that you called me this morning and said that Remax would not accept a contract with anything less than 5%. You added that you wouldn't lodge the contract with Remax until after the viewing if an acceptable offer was made by the buyer. You then added that I didn't have to sign the contract - so why did you send it?. You added that you could get Remax to agree to a reduction to 4% if an offer was made and that I should trust you. Given all of the contradictory statements you had made up to that point I preferred to deal more openly. If you say you can deliver a deal then it should be transparent. That is the ethical way to do business.

And your rant at the end of our conversation this morning before you insulted me and hung up was totally unprofessional
and just reinforced the reviews of Remax and the experiences of acquaintances who have had dealings with them.
