If you chose to buy a property from them, make sure y you have proper legal representation, a solicitor. These guys hide things, lie, cheat, and make illegal agreements all the way! They will also intimidate you and shout at you. My wife was verbally abused on many times by one particular individual.

You need a solicitor that can find all the things they are trying to hide about the property and make sure it comes to light. DO NOT allow them to do the contracts.

A diabolic experience! I’m in the process of placing a formal complaint for defamation of character, false accusations and plain blasphemy. Never will I use or recommend remaxx to anyone in Portugal. It’s been a nightmare! She has no experience in dealing with expats nor documentation to execute a closing in Portugal.

I attempted to rent an apartment through REMAX Portugal. I sent them an email to confirm whether it was available, but got NO ANSWER. Later, I messaged the agent responsible, who briefly told me it was occupied and when I asked for any alternatives in the area, he simply refused to put ANY EFFORT into helping me, but rather told me to browse the entire website all over again on my own! Unacceptable service!

Remax Portugal and its Agencies steal commissions and fees from workers that pay them.They are a mafia that robs its workers.

These cheaters try to sell me an unregistered unlawful property, hurry up with the deposit so to seal the deal telling me paperwork will be regulized later on when it could NEVER be regularized!

Diabolical.

They lied and exploited our situation and even tried to charge us a fee without selling the flat. They put the wrong bank details for the transaction. Ultimately we were ground down to a state where we sold our flat after 6 months for less than what it was worth.

The most incompetent and disingenuous services company I have ever dealt with.

O site é uma autêntica perda de tempo. Só aparecem ou reservados ou já alugados ou vendidos.

Limpem o site e respeitem o tempo dos possíveis clientes, não consigo perceber porque o fazem desta maneira, é absurdo.

Rented a house with Remax, BIG MISTAKE. They claimed the owner new but turns out they were renting the property without the owners knowledge, obviously to keep the money for Remax.
I signed the contract and paid one year in full, they never gave me the original copy signed by the owner and kept making excuses saying they were going to travel.
A COMPLETE MESS. EVERYBODY THAT WORKS THERE IS A PATHOLOGICAL LIAR! Don't believe them!

Bought a house through Remax biggest bunch of liars going, said they had all the paperwork beforehand but they did not.

Had to put one star but this company is criminal. They threatened to report me to the police because I took a photo ofva house I was goingvto buy!!!!

I have had to deal with them several times as they are the biggest real estate in Portugal but every single time the experience was not positive.

Agents do not call back, come late, do not answer your questions, ignore your messages and simply cheat at every given opportunity. To find a good real estate agent is not easy but Remax PT makes it absolutely impossible.

I have had to deal with several offices throughout Portugal and every single time it was waste of time, money and energy.

From my experience it is better to turn to small local agencies who tend to be much more professional then Remax representatives.
