The service I received was second to none. I placed my order on a Sunday and asked when the anticipated delivery date was and I received a call back and a message left on my voicemail giving me details that same day. My order was received quicker than expected and I had a phone call asking which delivery service I wanted. This was delivered the following day. Which arrived on time, all neatly boxed for safety. Although I have only slept on the mattress for one night, I am sure it is as good as the previous Shakespeare Memory Plus mattress that I had before.

All in all a great service and would recommend this company for the future.

Great personal service, ordered in the evening and had a call next morning to ask about delivery options. Next day delivery was great and had a follow up email to check if everything went OK with the order. Can recommend this company just on that. The 4-shelf oak bookcase I ordered has made a beautiful addition to my lounge and is perfect for storing my CD collection. It is sturdily built and beautifully finished.

I found the mattress that I wanted to buy at a very good price, on the easy to navigate, The Sleep Shop website and from checking availability to the moment the mattress was delivered there wasn't a single problem.
Within an hour or so of ordering a polite member of the sales team called me and advised the delivery date and how I would be given a time slot closer to the day.
All went well, the mattress is so comfy and I have already recommended The Sleep Shop to a friend who is looking for a replacement bed.
My replacement mattress journey couldn't have been smoother.

The service that I received in the Sleep Shop at Sleaford was excellent. The gentleman that I spoke to was knowledgeable about the product, how promptly it could delivered to my home and that my old mattress could be taken away. On completion of the purchase, the delivery proceeded exactly as the salesman had told me that it would. Very good. Thank you.

The Sleep Shop offered the best price for my new mattress including delivery, and set-up. I did phone the shop to check availability and delivery period. I received my new mattress within the week and the delivery guys quickly set up and removed my old mattress and packaging. I would definetly recommend.

Everyone was very helpful and considerate all delivered to correct room upstairs all unpacked and fully assembled in correct place and all rubbish taken away

Possibly the worst customer service experience ever! Good customer service is about resolving issues.
I ordered a mattress on the 13/7 all seemed well, I received a call to book a date, they could have delivered on the Thursday 16th, we were away so booked Friday 17th
We were told they cant give delivery windows, so between 8.00am and 6.00pm.
Waited all day, 5.30 I rang the company, they were unable to contact the courier, and said it may still arrive if not, possibly Monday?
Monday, waiting again, rang the company, they could not contact courier, I was being very calm, these things happen, not overly concerned yet!
Rang again later that day, really nice helpful person, said she would call me back the next day, she had tried the courier, no reply, tried courier main depot, they were trying to contact the depot in Northampton, but they couldn't get through either.
Tuesday, person did call back to say she was still trying. Meanwhile I had checked tracking several times over the last few days, that said on Friday it was scanned at the depot at 4.01am, still said that on Tuesday, no mention of being on the lorry for delivery.
This went on for days, emails, calls etc
Finally (I thought) on the Thursday 23rd nearly a whole week later, it said scanned onto lorry for delivery.
Again waited all day, late afternoon I rang the sleep shop again, they said they would book a premium delivery for sat (manager said this) I said how can it be premium when its a week late, she said they have to pay extra, surely they should be compensated for late/non delivery!
Went along with this, checked tracking on the Friday, still on the lorry for delivery, obviously it did not come on Friday.
Saturday, premium delivery day... I had already been told DX only deliver up until 12.00 only a.m delivery.
11.55 I ring as no delivery, had enough asked for a full refund, was told to email the request, they could not just do it, emailed as requested.
12.41, I literally was about to re order with another company, hubby called me outside and said bring the phone, the mattress had arrived , it was in a shocking condition, not secure in the van, one man (no way could he move with out dragging it ) the packaging was filthy, had been wet, torn etc etc I refused delivery took photos. Rang the sleep store again, sent photos, they did apologise for all of this, I again said I want an immediate refund.
Monday, no refund, I ring the sleep store, was told company policy says refunds only issued when goods returned to them , wow does not make sense, that would be for returns, I never had it delivered, also it took so long to get to me, how long would this take.
On the Wednesday tracking (tracking also said customer refused due to ordering wrong, even lying)said it was was back in Northampton ha where it should have been on the 17th. I rang the sleep shop, they said it was back in their warehouse (not Northampton) and she would immediately email accounts to ask for swift refund....
Of course, that did not happen, I opened a case with PayPal, sent all emails, pics, tracking etc they had no contact from the sleep store and they closed the case with my refund on the 5th August, no apology from the sleep store. I had also emailed their Director on the 27/7 to complain, to date he did not even bother to reply.
I spoke to 4 different female customer service assistants, while they were trying to be helpful, and seemed quite concerned about this, this did not result in the correct resolution by them.
While it was the courier fault, the sleep shop should have stepped in and resolved this quickly.
Could not recommend them based 4.5 days waiting in for goods not fit for purpose.
On a really positive note, I ordered the same mattress from another online company, ordered at 12.54 pm on the Saturday the other mattress turned up. The email confirmation said i would get a delivery slot message that evening.
True, Saturday evening, message said delivery would be between 7.25am and 9.25am next day SUNDAY, on Sunday at 9.05 am driver rang would be with me within the hour, 9.35am 2 man delivery perfect mattress delivered by AIT , and that is how it should be!!!!
